It wasn't too long ago that my Friday nights used to closely resemble the lyrics of the latest Ke$ha hit, lately though, they've been pretty much indistinguishable from any other night of the week. As part of my Disney Devotion project, I've decided to change that by declaring Friday nights as Disney movie night. I'll admit it is not nearly as exciting as meeting the girls for drinks, but it sure beats the alternative, which lately has consisted of playing FarmVille and going to bed by 9 pm. Watching a different Disney movie each Friday night will give me something to look forward to, and give me a chance to revisit my old favorites and maybe even watch a few that I haven't seen (like Brother Bear and Home on the Range). To start out my movie marathon my daily Disney Devotion for January 7th will begin with the original, and a true classic, Snow White. I haven't seen the movie in about a year, and although Snow White is not my favorite princess (that distinction goes to Ariel), I love the lavish storytelling and beautiful animation.
