January 6th
One of the greatest joys that Disney brings me is not directly related to the parks, or the movies, or the characters, but is in all the wonderful people that I have met and befriended through my involvement in the Disney community. One of those individuals is Shane Roberts, who is the host of the Communicore Online podcast. I met Shane in Spring 2009 and we spent a wonderful day in the Magic Kingdom with other like-minded Disney fans. Shane and I were able to reconnect last fall and had a fantastic time at the All About the Mouse Illuminations Dessert Party and a memorable evening at Jellyrolls. We remained in touch and Shane has graciously invited me to join him on the podcast to discuss the ins and outs of taking babies and preschoolers to the parks. My daily Disney Devotion for January 6th was recording a segment with Shane about the best and worst times of year to travel to WDW with young children. We had a blast recording it, and I'd highly suggest taking a listen. Thank you Shane, for allowing me to join you, and I look forward to our recording sessions in the future. You can find us on itunes, or on Shane's website http://www.communicoreonline.com/podcast.php
