Alright, I realize that it it January 5th, which means I should have started this blog 5 days ago, but I'll get all caught up right now so we can go forward.
January 1st- Twilight Zone Marathon
I am not a fan of New Years day because it is such a let-down after the holidays and it signals the end of vacation and back to school or work. The one bright spot of the day is my Daily Disney Devotion, and the Twilight Zone marathon on Syfy. I'm sure any Disney fan can quickly recognize why black and white episodes of the Twilight Zone transport me to the parks, all I have to do is close my eyes and hear the opening strains of that distinctive theme song and I'm back at DHS, in the library of the Tower of Terror, waiting my turn to board the elevator to the Twilight Zone.
I really like the original Twilight Zone, its perfect in that it is creepy without being scary. Its just enough to give me a few chills, but not so much that I'm sitting up half the night worrying over every creak and bump. I was only able to catch a few episodes, but I'm always watching them with a careful eye, hoping to recognize some element that has been worked into the attraction. I love seeing all the props at the end of the ride before you exit the elevator, someday I hope to know what each of those items signify. Its going to take a few more New Years day marathons.
