So last week I was not able to do feature film Friday, because I was busy entertaining family that was in town for Everett's bapstim. This week I got back and track and for my daily Disney devotion for January 21st I watched Pinocchio, but in a whole new way. Two weeks ago when I finished watching Snow White, I noticed that you could watch the film with commentary, and I was kicking myself that I didn't realize it before I had finished watching the film.
This week I decided to try watching with the commentary, and oh boy was it a revelation. I don't know if this is a special Blu Ray feature, but it had something called Cine-explore, in which a little picture in picture box popped up with the commentary, showing extra little bits of information. It was awesome, there were interviews with the animators, concept art from the archives, and all sorts of fun facts and information. If you are a Disney fan and haven't used this feature yet, rush away from your computer RIGHT NOW and go watch it, I promise it won't disappoint!
