March 7th- Haunted Mansion updates

On March 7th I stumbled across some information about the updates to the Haunted Mansion.  I thought that they were just going to work on the queue, and plus it into one of the NexGen projects Disney is working on, but I guess there will be some changes inside as well.  To read the whole article you can go here but it talks about how new projection effects are going to be used in the hitchhiking ghost scene.  Apparently they will be able to "do" more with the guests and handle doombuggy slowdowns better.   I'm pretty attached to the old hitchhiking ghosts, and one of my favorite parts of the ride is guessing which of the three will "follow me home".  So far the imagineers have a pretty good track record with updates to the Mansion, and I really hope this will be a winner as well.  I'd hate to see one of the most iconic scenes of one of the most iconic rides be changed for the worst!
